Dr Subrata Naskar

The complexities of human mind and its endless potential is a fascinating thing. To understand its functioning and to solve the abnormalities has been the life's aim of Dr. Subrata Naskar. He has been treating patients with various mental illnesses with compassion and care for which he has received the love and respect of his patients and their families. He passed his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree (MBBS) from Calcutta National Medical Collge & Hospital, Kolkata, following which he took his training in general Psychiatry (M.D) from Silchar Medical College. There he underwent rigorous training in treating patients with various psychopathologies namely Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder etc. Working in the north-eastern part of India where substance abuse is a major hazard he got extensive exposure in working in deaddiction programs for patients with various substance abuse. He also took special training in neurology at Gauhati Medical College treating patients with various Neuropsychiatric problems. Following that he attended the prestigious National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS, Bangalore), an Institute of national importance and received training in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, Forensic Psychiatry, and Family Therapy.
