Dr Subhra Bandyopdhyay

MD, MRCP(UK), FRCP(London), FRCP(Edin), FICC, FCSI, FESC, FACC, FSCAI Professor Dr. Suvro Banerjee is a Senior Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at Apollo Gleneagles Hospital, Kolkata. He has worked in many prestigious hospitals in the UK. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of London, Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, American College of Cardiology, European Society of Cardiology and Cardiological Society of India. He is a clinical examiner for the MRCP (UK) examinations in India. He is also an academic counselor for postgraduate students of Indira Gandhi Open University (IGNOU). He is also teacher for DNB, Cardiology (MCI). He is currently the Assistant Secretary of Cardiological Society of India, West Bengal branch and an executive member of West Bengal Academy of Echocardiography. He has been a Principal Investigator in many international clinical trials such as Aristotle, Atlas ACS2 TIMI 51, CRISP-AMI and others. He is currently involved in epidemiological research with University of Calgary (Canada) and Coventry & Warwickshire NHS Trust (UK). His procedural skills, among others, include coronary and peripheral angioplasty, pacemaker, ICD and CRT implantation. Dr. Banerjee has numerous publications in national and international journals.   Besides his professional activities, he is a Rotarian and Paul Harris Fellow.
