She has received best women award for medical curriculum in 2013 on the eve of into women's day held in Maha Kavi Bharathiar Illam. Dr. Mahalakshmi has completed her fellowship in reproductive medicine and androgyny from Chettinad University. She is running an IVF super specialty unit under the banner of Abhijay reproductive care (Arc Research Center). She has given births to childless couples from many parts of the country (Singapore, UK, UAE etc). She is running a scientific, evidence-based research center catering all challenges in infertility treatments. Her vision is to make our country recognized globally for infertility treatments, promoting medical tourism and surrogacy in infertility. She is a consultant obstetrician and gynecologist. With over 15 years of vast experience in obstetrics / gynecology / laparoscopy / hysteroscopy & infertility. She has treated more than 5000 subfertile couples with success rates on par with international standards. She has conducted more than 2500 normal deliveries and c-sections. She has performed more than 1000 laparoscopies and hysteroscopies. Her passion is infertility. She takes care of the complete management of female subfertile partner from performing O & G ultrasound, doing interventional hystero laparascopies and high-risk antenatal care. A female partner under her care gets a very positive attitude and approach because of her diligent and consistent care, till the delivery of new born. She has established comprehensive and advanced interventional fertility treatments in arc like PGd / Era / interventional genetic treatments, fertility preservation, third party reproduction and surrogacy treatments. She is doing extensive research @ arc fertility to cater complicated & challenging cases.
