Dr Bikash Majumder

Dr. Majumder is working as a Senior Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at the Apollo Gleneagles Hospital, Kolkata. His primary clinical interest is the treatment of heart artery diseases, heart attacks and heart blocks. He is a specialist cardiologist who performs Coronary Angiography, Coronary Angioplasty (Both through Radial and Femoral approach), Permanent Pace Maker Implantation and ICD Implantation. Apart from clinical Cardiology, he has a special interest in teaching and research. As one of the directors of 'Cardiology Masterclass, Dr. Majumder is actively involved in teaching the junior doctors and the general practitioners. As the chairman of a non government organization namely 'West Bengal Heart Foundation' , he is actively involved in spreading awareness about heart diseases in the community and teaching the public about the emergency life-saving techniques and basic life support. Apart from Indian experience, Dr. Majumder had 10-years experience of work in the United Kingdom and Switzerland.
