Dr Ajit N Patil

After completion of MD from Solapur (stood first in Shivaji uni for MD), pursued further skill acquisition in ultrasound with dr. Suresh in Chennai and endoscopic surgeries at Jaslok Hospital Mumbai. He established the first fetal medicine unit in western Maharashtra in 2002 and now has developed a techno savvy unit "Pristine fetal medicine unit". He is in Limca book of records for innovative fetal procedures and is credited with the first successful exit procedure done on a fetus for the first time in India. This paper has won international awards. His interests include safe delivery practices, laparoscopic surgeries, and fetal procedures. He is actively involved in postgraduate teaching at dr Dypatil medical college Kolhapur.
