He also completed a post-doctoral course in Nephrology from Manipal Hospital, Bangalore, and DNB in Nephrology from Manipal Hospital, Bangalore, during which he was awarded Dr. HL Trivedi Gold Medal. With his keen areas of interest being vascular access placement especially tunneled catheter placement, dialysis, and kidney transplantation, Dr. Vishwanath also has vast experience in hemodialysis, CAPD, CCPD, renal transplant, critical care, central line placement, catheter placement, and acute peritoneal dialysis catheter placement in both adult and pediatric population.
