Dr. Aniketh Venkataram is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, graduated from St.Johns Medical College, Bangalore registered with Karnataka Medical Council. He is a life member of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) Association of Plastic Surgeons of India (APSI), Indian association of aesthetic plastic surgeons (IAAPS), Association of cutaneous surgeons of India (ACSI) and Association of hair restoration surgeons of India (AHRSI). Following his plastic surgery training, Dr.Aniketh went abroad to train in cosmetic surgery. He trained in Hair Transplantation under Dr.Mysore at Venkat Charmalaya. He trained in Dubai under Dr.Sanjay Parashar for liposuction and body contouring. He was selected for the prestigious Dutch Association of Facial Plastic Surgeons (DAFPPS) fellowship, with which he trained in Belgium under Dr.Alexis Verpaele and Dr.Patirck Tonnard in Facial Aesthetics, MACS facelift, and fat transfer. He then traveled to Istanbul to learn Rhinoplasty from the famous rhinoplasty surgeons, Dr.Nazim Cerkes and Dr.Baris Cakir. He was also selected for the prestigious American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS) International fellowship under which he spent 4 months in USA learning from masters of plastic surgery in Texas, Miami and New York. He is proficient in all aesthetic surgeries and treatments including lasers, fillers, botulinum toxin, threadlift etc. During his training, Dr.Aniketh received the Gold Medal both in General Surgery and Plastic Surgery and trained in microsurgery at Taiwan. He has published 20 journal articles and 15 textbook chapters with numerous paper and poster presentations. He was also awarded the Best Paper award at the APSI National Conference in 2015. He has a special interest in Hair Transplantation and coedited a textbook on the same, as well as designed new instruments. Dr.Aniketh is also specialized in the management of varicose veins and has done a dissertation on sclerotherapy. Dr.Aniketh also does reconstructive surgery, with a passion for burn restoration. He regularly volunteers for burn reconstruction camps organized by National Burns Center, Mumbai, and is focussed on an aesthetic restoration of burn victims.
