Dr. Jillella Venkateshwar Reddy, commonly known as Dr.J.V.Reddy, is a consultant Obstetrician Gynaecologist and Infertility specialist at Habsiguda Polyclinic. An MBBS, M.D, D.G.O from the prestigious Gandhi Medical College in Hyderabad, he was also the Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology there. He was the Superintendent of Gandhi Hospital, Hyderabad, Telangana, India for the year 2016. He also served as the Inspector, MCI, Medical Council of India for the purpose of recognition of various Medical colleges and hospitals all over India. He also served in the prestigious Osmania and Gandhi Medical Colleges as a civil surgeon and as a Professor, teaching thousands of students both at under-graduate and post-graduate levels. He is an active member of the Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecological Society of India (FOGSI) and the Indian Medical Association (IMA). In a career spanning three decades, he performed tens of thousands of surgeries and as the testimonies from various peers, doctors and colleagus on this website reveal, his skill as a surgeon is outstanding which result in smaller operating times, minimal blood loss and early post operative recovery. Dr. Reddy is best at complicated surgeries – vaginal hysterectomies, ovarian cystectomies, C Sections with fibroids, myomectomies, all forms of laparoscopies, placenta previas, carcinoma endometriums, vaginal septums, management of serious obstetric conditions like abruption, IUD, eclampsia, tubectomies, reversal of tubectomies, tuboplasties - conducted often in single sessions and in record timings, with minimal loss of blood, the fewest scars and least adverse repercussions. He specialises in vaginal hysterectomies in patients in whom generally gynaecologists would have otherwise performed open abdominal or laparoscopic procedures which invite lot of expenditure and operating time upon the patient. Dr.Reddy also treats various conditions leading to infertility in both men and women. Dr.Reddy also performs surgeries on men not limited to appendicectomies, hernia operations, circumcision surgeries, vasectomies, reversal of vasectomies etc He has performed surgeriesunder all sorts of demanding circumstances, for patients in adverse conditions, irrespective of their socio economic status. He does not hesitate to come to the aid of his colleague doctors in the middle of life threatening complications during surgeries.
