Dr Sanjib Kumar Behera

Dr. Sanjib Kumar Behera is an experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon in Hyderabad, specialising in total knee replacement, total hip replacement and sports medicine. Dr. Behera also has much expertise and experience in trauma care and rehabilitation. He is currently attached to Yashoda Hospitals in Secunderabad as Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon. Dr. Behera performs an average of 100 surgeries a month, of which about 40 percent are total joint arthroplasty procedures and 40 percent major trauma cases. The remaining 20 percent relate to sports injury and arthroscopic assisted surgeries. Apart from his day-to-day surgical responsibilities, Dr. Behera is passionate about developing and teaching newer concepts in practising orthopaedic surgeries. Dr. Sanjib Kumar Behera has been with Yashoda Hospitals since October 2004. Earlier, he worked for a total of nine years overall at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai, All India Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in Mumbai, Image Hospital in Hyderabad, and other renowned hospitals in India. Dr. Behera completed a fellowship in sports medicine at ISAKOS in France, and is a member of several prestigious Indian and international associations pertaining to his areas of specialisation.
