Dr NAVEEN KUMAR

Dr Naveen Kumar has completed his MBBS in 2004 from the prestigious university College of Medical Sciences, University of Delhi, and later MD in internal medicine also from University of Delhi. Completed DM in Hepatology from Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS) in 2014. Later he Underwent Fellowship in Transplant Hepatology from Medanta the Medicity which has done the largest number of liver transplant in India. He has the capability and skills of performing both upper and lower GI diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including GI bleeds along with ERCPs. He also had expertise in hepatic hemodynamic, Hepatic Venous Pressure Gradient (HVPG) measurement and transjugular liver biopsies. He has many national and international presentations, publications and awards to his name. His area of interest are Transplant Hepatology, Viral Hepatitis B and C, Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, Biliary diseases, Portal hypertension, Hepato-renal syndrome.
