Dr. G. Ramachandran has over 23 years of experience in healthcare industry and over 19 years of experience in the field of ophthalmology. He completed his post graduation in ophthalmology from Aravind eye care system, Madurai, Tamilnadu. He has performed several surgeries in the specialty of ophthalmology. He has interests in clinical ophthalmology besides administration, operations etc. He has vast experience in various life cycles of the practice of ophthalmology & in team building and developing new businesses in ophthalmology. Being a multilingual and having worked in cross-cultural environments, effective communication skills & bold decision-making attitude helps him to achieve goals. He has developed operational business models for ophthalmology practice through his years of experience at several places of work, which are easily replicable elsewhere. He has initiated and developed several new ophthalmology projects in corporate healthcare groups in India and UAE and has successfully made them profit making units. Besides his corporate responsibilities, he is willing to be associated with various service providers, philanthropists & good minded individuals/organizations to provide eye care services to needy and the neighborhood community.
