Dr Adilshah Kadri

Consultant Neuro Psychiatrist & Therapist, MRCPsych(London), MRCP(London), MSc(Psychiatry,UK), MBBS(India) 16 years Experience in Psychiatry . Dr Kadri has more than twenty­two years of medical experience including eighteen years of Psychiatry and General Medicine experience in the United Kingdom. He has worked as a Consultant in General Adult and Old Age Psychiatry in the United Kingdom with additional expertise in other Subspecialties of Child Psychiatry, Addictions, Learning Disability, Rehabilitation Psychiatry and Forensic Psychiatry. He holds the MRCPsych and MRCP qualifications as well as a CCT and a Master’s degree in Psychiatry all of which have been obtained in the United Kingdom. Given his medical background his special interest is Hospital Liaison Psychiatry which deals with the interface between Medical/Surgical Illnesses and Psychiatry. Further as part of the CCT he has substantial experience in managing Psychiatric illnesses in Older People, in particular Memory Loss and Dementia patients. He also also has extensive experience in Service Development & Management and in conducting Audits. On the Academic front several of his articles have been published, he has experience in Research, in Teaching both Postgraduate and Undergraduate medical students and in giving talks to Medical colleagues and Allied Professionals. He works well with multi­disciplinary teams both leading the team as well as a team member. He is fluent in English, Urdu and Hindi and able to communicate in Gujarati and Marathi as well.
