Dr. Sandeep Chauhan is a board certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee joint
replacement surgery, complex fractures reconstructions and musculoskeletal infections. Dr. Sandeep
Chauhan completed his medical training from Kolhapur graduating from Shivaji University in 1995. He
completed his surgical training at the P.G.I.M.S. Rohtak and Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital New Delhi.
He acquired Joint Replacement fellowship training under Dr. Brig B.K.Singh at Army Hospital R&R New
Delhi, and the legendary Dr. C.S. Ranawat at Hospital for special surgery New York. He is a visiting
clinician at Mt. Sinai Hospital Toronto and Mayo Clinic Rochester Mn. U.S.A.
His advanced training in plastic surgery helps him to evaluate and provide the best course of care for his
patients having soft tissue injuries better than his fellow colleagues. Dr. Chauhan enjoys his role as a

fractures. He also has specialized training in computer assisted joint replacement surgeries and is among
the few surgeons in India who have the experience of doing Robotic joint replacement.
Dr. Chauhan's primary research interests include preventing and tackling infections in joint
replacements, Fixation of Calcaneal fractures and fractures in Osteoporotic Patients.
