Dr. Manavita Mahajan has been a practicing Obstetrician & Gynaecologist for the past 30 years and is well liked and respected by her patients as well as the medical fraternity for her professional competence and high ethical standards. Her work experience and professional training have been extensive both in India and in NHS Hospitals in the UK. Dr. Manavita Mahajan is currently working as a Director in Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Minimal Access Surgery in Gynecolgy at Artemis Hospital, Gurgaon and previously she was a director Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Fortis Hospital, Gurgaon. Dr. Manavita Mahajan did post graduation in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from one of the premier institutes in north India – PGIMER Chandigarh in 1993. She subsequently worked and trained in England and became a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists UK (MRCOG) in 1998 (postgraduate degree in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in UK) and was honoured with the Fellowship of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRCOG, UK) in 2011 for her excellent work in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Her areas of expertise are in 1. Assessment and management of high-risk pregnancies (pregnancies that are complicated by current or past events that may compromise the safety of mother and child unless properly handled). 2. Laparoscopic gynecological surgeries for ectopic pregnancy, ovarian cysts & tumors, fibroid uterus & endometriosis and laparoscopic hysterectomy. 3.
