Dr. Susmit Naskar, a full-time Orthopaedic-Spine consultant practicing in the city of Kolkata and Howrah. Dr. Susmit has completed his undergraduate degree from medical college, Kolkata. then he went to Mumbai to complete his dream of learning orthopedics from the very institution. Sion Hospital, Mumbai. He has completed his spine training through a long-term 2-year fellowship in Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Mumbai. To further bolster his acumen of modern spine surgery he went to Seoul, South Korea for surgeon training program. he got selected for prestigious IGASS fellowship in Dortmund, Germany for Minimally Invasive spine surgery. He went on to learn other challenging section of spine surgery that is deformity correction from Philadelphia USA through IASA fellowship. He has 7 years of practicing experience in the city of Mumbai and Kolkata. Dr. Susmit is presently attached to various prestigious corporate hospitals in Kolkata and Howrah. he has operated many patients coming from all parts of eastern India including Assam, Bihar, Bengal, as well as patients from our neighbor countries like Bhutan and Bangladesh. the USP of Dr. Susmit's practice is treating patients with a thorough understanding of their problems. even if a patient requires surgery the hospital stay and post-op recovery is very short as he introduces minimal access surgery with less blood loss and tissue trauma.
