Before joining as consultant HPB and Liver transplant surgery at Zydus hospital, he got trained and worked at various institute of national importance in field of Gastro-surgery and Liver transplantation. He had remarkable academic carrier. After completion of MBBS at PSMC, Karamsad, he was a topper in all India entrance examination at prestigious post graduate institute of medical education and research centre (PGIMER) at Chandigarh. He completed his residency in general surgery and joined the surgical gastroenterology department as senior registrar. During his 5-year training at PGIMER, He got experience in complex hepatobiliary surgery like major liver resection, liver resection in cirrhosis, carcinoma gall bladder, Pancreatic surgery, hilar cholangiocarcinoma, liver surgery, hepatocellular carcinoma and liver transplantation. He has done his super specialization in hepatobiliary and liver transplantation (M. Ch) super specialist at institute of liver and biliary sciences(ILBS) at New Delhi. During his training at ILBS, He has cumulative experience of 450+ living donor liver transplantation and 150+ deceased donor liver transplantation plus more than 500 various major hepatobiliary surgery. He has completed three research project which include one basic science related to transplant immunology and two clinical study during his tenure at ILBS. He received degree of M. Ch in hepatobiliary and liver transplantation surgery with honour from respected vice president of India Mr Venkaiah Naidu. Afterward, he worked as assistant professor in gastro-surgery and liver transplant department at Institute of kidney disease and research centre – institute of transplantation (IKDRC-ITS) for 3 years from 2018 to 2021. His special area of interest is liver resection for hepatocellular carcinoma, Laparoscopic liver surgery, whipple’s procedure, Pancreatic Cancer, Shunt surgery for extrahepatic portal vein obstruction(EHPVO) and non-cirrhotic portal fibrosis(NCPF), hepatic resection for liver metastasis,cadaver & living donor liver transplant, multiorgan procurement, critical care in liver transplantation, acute liver failure, liver transplantation in high urgency cases, donor safety and rejection after liver transplantation. He has presented many oral and poster at national and international scientific meeting. He has publication in major index journal with high impact factor in field of liver transplantation.
