Dr. Richie Gupta has been in clinical practice in the field of Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery, since past 24 years. He is widely experienced in all aspects of Plastic Surgery. He also has a special interest in micro-vascular surgery and complex reconstructions in cases of trauma, birth defects and post cancer resections. An alumni of Maulana Azad Medical College and associated LNJP and GB Pant Hospitals, Delhi, Dr. Richie completed his M.S. in Surgery in 1990. He completed his M.Ch.in Plastic Surgery from Armed Forces Medical College and associated Command Hospital in Pune in 1993. Dr. Richie has previously worked as Visiting Clinical Professor at Subharti Institute of Medical Sciences, Meerut. He was also the Director of Smile Train Project at Subharti, and later, Sunderlal Jain Hospital, where he carried out hundreds of free operations in children with cleft lip and cleft palate, a common birth defect. He helped to establish a Burns ICU in Sunderlal Jain Hospital, in the year 2000, the only one of it’s kind in private sector in Delhi, at that time. He has also worked as Senior Consultant in Plastic Surgery at Maharaja Agrasen Hospital, Punjabi Bagh, Max Hospitals at Pitampura and Shalimar Bagh and B.L.K. Superspeciality Hospital at Pusa Road. Presently, he is Senior Consultant and Head of the Department of Plastic, Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery at Fortis Hospital Shalimar Bagh. The Department together with Department of Dermatology is providing the latest in the field of Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery.
