Dr. L. K. Malhotra is a distinguished Neurologist and a gifted clinician with a fine clinical acumen. Previously he was working as the Chief Neurologist at Vidyasagar Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences, (VIMHANS) New Delhi.In 1988, his arduous journey towards honor and excellence was pushed further when he decided to venture into private practice. In the initial years, he was attached to various hospitals situated in East, Central and South Delhi.In 1997 when a dedicated Center for Neuro Sciences (VIMHANS) was inaugurated, he attached himself to this institute on its inception. VIMHANS provided services in the branch of neurology, neurosurgery, psychiatry, psychology and spinal services. A true believer of teamwork, he had a competent team of doctors working with him. In February 2014, he decided to move ahead and continue practicing on his own at his clinic.He is an expert not only in handling acute neurological emergencies, but also provides with support to patients’ families dealing with chronic neurological diseases. He has a particular interest in headaches, Parkinson's disease, epilepsy, and stroke.In 2006, he was awarded the prestigious T.P.
