Dr Naginder Vashisht is a Consultant Ophthalmologist based in New Delhi. He has a post-graduate MD degree in Ophthalmology along with the FRCS and FICO accreditations. Besides, he has also had specialized advanced training in the area of vitreo-retina surgery. Dr Vashisht has had wide experience in several hospitals in and around New Delhi. In addition, he has had considerable exposure to ocular pathology and pharmacology laboratory procedures, Humphrey visual field evaluation and Goldman perimetry, ocular pachymetry and corneal topographic evaluation. He is also familiar with videokeratography and orbs can, refractive surgery and biometry workup. Dr Vashisht's surgical experience includes performing phacoemulsification under topical anaesthesia, buckling surgery, pars plana vitrectomy, vitreoretinal surgeries for complicated retinal detachment, macular hole surgery and managing trauma cases including IOFB and endophthalmitis. Besides his clinical expertise, Dr Vashisht has been actively involved in research studies, and several of his co-authored papers have been published in peer-reviewed journals or presented as posters or podium presentations at medical conferences.
