Dr. Jain’s professional experience spanning many years has seen him in various prominent roles in hospitals around the globe. He has developed original surgical technique. He has been a respected teacher, researcher and administrator at various prestigious institutes in India & abroad. He does not leave any stone unturned for the benefit of the patients. Dr. V. K jain is the senior director of neurosurgery and spine surgery at max hospitals in Delhi and NCR. He completed his MBBS from King George’S Medical College, Lucknow in the year 1974. Then he completed his master’s degree in neurosurgery from National Institute Of Mental Health & Neurosciences (NIMHANS) Bangalore in 1981. After working for ten years at NIMHANS he moved to Sanjaya Gandhi Post Graduate Institute Of Medical Sciences, Lucknow in 1987. Here he was instrumental in setting up a new department and building it to a high standard of service research and teaching, leading the department to its present state of eminence is India and abroad . He left this institute to join Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi as chairman of department of neurosurgery in 2010. From where he moved to Max Super Specialty Hospital, Saket as senior director of neurosurgery and spine surgery in 2012. Dr. Jain has also worked as special associate professor at department of neurosurgery in Fujita Health University, Nagoya Japan for a period of one year during 1985-1986.
