Dr Megha Pruthi

Dr. Megha Pruthi is a young and dynamic Pain and Palliative Care Consultant. She has done her post graduation in Anaesthesiology from Safdarjung Hospital. Following which she completed 3 years of training in cancer pain and palliative care at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and Fellowship in Pain Medicine from Aesculap Academ tuy (Germany). She has more than 5 years of experience in pain management and has huge volume of expertise in managing spectrum of chronic pain conditions including cancer pain, low back pain, joint pain, facial pain, headache, trigeminal neuralgia, post herpetic neuralgia, CRPS, knee pain, ankle pain, peripheral neuropathies etc. She is expert in minimally invasive interventional pain procedures including RF Ablation of Trigeminal Ganglion , Stellate Ganglion, Lumber Sympathectomy, Coeliac Plexus Block, Splanchnic neve block, Facet joint block, Nerve Root Injections, Intrathecal pump implantation, Spinal cord stimulator implantation etc. She has to her credit several research papers and a chapter on splanchnic nerve block in a reputed book on interventional pain management. She has been invited as a faculty in India Pain Update 2016 and in EPM (Essentials of Pain Medicine) Lite organized by Travelling Pain School in April 2016.
