Subsequently, He Worked Under The Mentorship Of Prof Shiv Kumar Sarin For 5 Years In His Unit In Various Capacities, Including As Associate Professor At The Institute Of Liver & Biliary Sciences (ILBS), New Delhi, India. He Has Been A Visiting Fellow At The National Cancer Center In Japan And University Of California, San Francisco, USA. His Research Areas Include Mainly Hepatocellular Carcinoma, Portal Hypertension, Acute-on-chronic-liver Failure, And Stem Cells For Liver Diseases. He Has Over Eighty Publications In International Journals, Including Gastroenterology, Annals Of Internal Medicine, And Gut. He Is The Coordinator And The Lead Author Of The Indian Consensus On Treatment Of Liver Cancer Under Aegis Of Indian National Association For The Study Of Liver. He Has Also Been One Of The Faculties Of The Baveno Working Group On Portal Hypertension, And Many Apasl Working Groups On Portal Hypertension And Acute-on-chronic Liver Failure.
