Dr A K Bansal

Dr. A K Bansal is a Senior Consultant Pediatrician visiting BLK Superspeciality Hospital, Pusa Road. With nearly 4 decades of clinical experience, Dr Bansal is one of the most senior paediatricians in the national capital region. He has previously been attached to Fortis Jessa Ram Hospital and Safdarjung Hospital. Dr Bansal pursued his MBBS followed by an MD in Paediatrics from the prestigious Sardar Patel Medical College, Bikaner. Thereafter, he gained clinical and research experience from Safdarjung Hospital in New Delhi, where he was also involved in teaching bussing young doctors. He has been associated with Dr B L Kapur Memorial Hospital over the past 25 years, and has also headed the department of Paediatrics at Fortis Jessa Ram Hospital. He has a keen interest in preventive health care in children and this has shaped his work over the past 40 years. He has especially concentrated on the domains of vaccination and childhood obesity, having recently completed a Post Graduate Program in Paediatric Nutrition from the Boston University School of Medicine. He is available at Mother & Child Clinic at Patel Nagar and Dr. Bansal's Children Clinic & Vaccination Centre at Karol Bagh, aside from visiting BLK Superspeciality Hospital.
