Practicing in Covai since 2001 as a consultant psychiatrist as a freelancer as well as a visiting consultant to various multispecialty hospitals including Kuppusamy Naidu Memorial Hospital and Kongunadu Hospital. Natchiyar Mind Care (NMC) was established in 2001 and today, after 14 years of successful services rendered in the field of Mental Health, we are crossing another milestone by establishing a new and exclusive set up at Maruthamalai and running Natchiyar Mind care clinic at Gandhipuram. Our hospital has 40 beds to cater to the needs of patients with acute and chronic mental illness. Our Medical team comprises of Senior Psychiatrists, Clinical Psychologist, Social Worker and Nursing Staff. Our approach to treatment is holistic, comprising of: Pharmacotherapy, Psychotherapy, Counseling and Rehabilitation. Our main objective and aim is to value the patients with care. Our long term vision is to build an institution which is dedicated to serve people with mental health issues by protecting their dignity in a safe and a compassionate environment. To create mental health awareness particularly towards preventive mental health Our Mission is to enhance the mental health of people in and round Coimbatore region by creating awareness about mental health related issues and also making treatment more accessible. We work with the primary motive of voluntary community service. We are committed in developing and emphasizing, effective clinical practices to promote mental health. We offer mental health services for children, adolescents and adults through our treatments and promote wellness.
