Dr Susan Marthandan

Dr. Susan Marthandan, the Director of HCAS is also a Leading Ophthalmologist in Chennai for the past 14 years. She was previously Senior Retina Consultant in Vasan Eye Care. Seeing a need for a centre which could meet the demand for comprehensive eye care, especially for diabetes and a One Stop centre for both their needs which are synergestic, Smart Vision and Diabetes Clinic was born with a great team of Doctors. She has completed her M.B.B.S. from Bangalore University and was University topper in M.S. Ophthalmology from Sri Ramachandra Medical College, Chennai. She has presented numerous papers in National and International Conferences. She is proficient in Lasers and posterior segment of the Eye.
