Dr. Sreekumar has attended a number of national and international workshops, conferences, and seminars in his field to ensure that he is up-to-date in the world of dentistry. He has been part of the Nobel Biocare International Symposium , the Zygomatic Implant Course held by Rajan Dental Institute, a Certificate Course on Basic Microvascular Surgery from Johnson and Johnson Institute, the International Trauma Anesthesia and Critical Care Society, a Micro Vascular Surgical Techniques-Hands on Course conducted in France and a workshop on Dentofacial Deformities and Craniofacial Distraction Osteogenesis, conducted by University of Glasgow and Saveetha Dental College. He completed a 300-hour requirement in Dental Implantology from American Academy of Implant Dentistry, AAID, in Glasgow, UK, after which he received an Affiliate Fellowship. That Dr. Sreekumar has become a highly skilled and accomplished dental practitioner and surgeon comes as no surprise to his batch mates – he was always a topper in class! He aced his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Examination and and received a distinction in the Human Anatomy, Histology And Embryology Examination. Dr Sreekumar firmly believes that balance is the key to life and finding that balance is a fine skill. His motivation comes from learning new skills and observing life. The challenges he faces and the limits he can push are his source of inspiration. He loves living in tune with nature and enjoys cycling and trekking, which allow him to explore nature and understand it better. Dr Sreekumar thinks that in the future, even materials used in dentistry will be bio-organic, sourced from nature herself.
