He has developed and embraced novel surgical techniques in live donor liver and cadaveric transplantation ensuring the shortest wait and best outcomes on the list He has a distinguished academic and surgical career with a cumulative experience of more than 1800 living donor liver transplants with internationally comparable clinical outcomes and transplantation rates. He has been involved in teaching, research work and published several papers in various international journals and has written chapters for many textbooks. He is also a Member Editorial board for Liver Transplantation in the Textbook of Surgical Gastroenterology (Jaypee).
