About Dr Manigandan Chandrasekaran

Dr Manigandan Chandrasekaran is a Consultant in Neonatal Medicine at Cloudnine Hospital in Chennai. He is trained in Neonatal Medicine in the United Kingdom. He received specialist training in the Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU) at University College London Hospital (UCLH) and at Imperial College London NHS Trust. During his time at UCLH he led a research project in Neonatal Neuroprotection with translational and clinical research. For this research work, he was awarded Doctor of Medicine (MD) from University College London (UCL) in 2013. Later, Dr Manigandan worked as a Consultant in Neonatal Medicine in Luton and Dunstable Hospital, and at Homerton University Hospital in addition to his clinical commitments, he is passionate about Neonatal Research. He returned to India in 2014 to join the Cloudnine Hospitals aiming to deliver high quality care to Neonatal infants in India and to provide a comprehensive Academic Programmer including teaching and research.
