Dr. Vasanthi Anand is the Director of Manasa Cochlear Implant and ENT Center. After completing MS (ENT) from Govt .medical college ,Bellary worked at Tata Memorial hospital Mumbai as fellow in Head and Neck Onco surgery Served as a faculty at Vydehi Institute of medical sciences for 12 yrs. Started this centre with the interest of giving internationally standardised diagnostic and treatment for hearing loss and post Cochlear Implant Habilitation .Trained in Minimally invasive Cochlear Implant surgery by Padmashri Prof Dr J M Hans and Dr .Trifon Kiratzidis ,Veria ,Greece. Has successfully done more than 400 cochlear implant surgeries in normal and anomalies of cochlea. Has operated on children age 10 months to 65 yrs adult . Has to credit many national and international paper presentation.
