Dr Saumil Gaur

Dr Gaur is a Pediatrician and Pediatric Nephrologist with over 7 years of experience in the field. He graduated at Govt Medical Trichur, Kerala with a degree in MBBS and then he did his MD in Pediatrics from Lala Lajpat Rai Medical College, Meerut. He pursued his Fellowship in Pediatric Nephrology at St John’s Medical College Bangalore for 2 years. He has also undergone observership in Pediatric Nephrology at Montreal, Canada. He has worked as an Assistant Professor in Pediatrics at the prestigious Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, Udupi. Subsequently he established the division of Pediatric Nephrology at Narayana Hospitals, Bommasandra, Hosur Road and started the Pediatric Kidney Transplant Program with several transplants in children to his credit. Dr Gaur has many national and international publications to his credit and has keen interest in research and advancements in field of pediatric nephrology. He is a Gold Medalist from his undergraduate days and he has received several Best Research Paper awards at National level Conferences. He specializes in Pediatric Critical Nephrology care requiring Hemodialysis, Peritoneal dialysis and CRRT in small children in PICU. His expertise includes management of kidney disorders like Acute and Chronic kidney failure, Hemodialysis, CAPD, Kidney Transplants, Nephrotic and Nephritis syndrome, Renal tubular acidosis, kidney biopsies in children etc. He also provides his skills in management of children with Urological disorders like PUV, VUR, PUJ, Neurogenic Bladder as team with Pediatric Surgeons / Urologists towards the medical aspect of such complicated disorders.
