Dr Sathish Prabhu

Dr. Sathish Prabhu is an Ophthalmologist specialising in Phacorefractive Surgery (Cataract & Lasik). He is currently attached to Sri Maruthi Nethralaya in Vijayanagar, Bangalore. After completing his MBBS from Kasturba Medical College in Mangalore in 1994, Dr. Prabhu moved to the Regional Institute of Ophthalmology at Minto Ophthalmic Hospital at Bangalore Medical College. He studied and trained there for three years and obtained the MS (Ophthalmology) postgraduate degree in 1998. He simultaneously passed the Diplomate of National Board (DNB) examination in Ophthalmology. Dr. Sathish Prabhu has completed fellowships in SICS and phacorefractive surgery, as part of his advanced training. With over 16 years of experience in the field of Ophthalmology, his super-speciality areas are Eye Drop Cataract Surgery and various techniques for Spectacle-free Vision. Dr. Prabhu has authored or co-authored over 100 papers that have been published in various journals or presented at conferences.
