Dr. Sanjay Deshpande is a Consultant Paediatrician and Paediatric Infectious Disease specialist consulting at Manipal Paediatric Daycare center at Kormangala. He has over 8 years’ experience in this field. Dr. Sanjay has pursued his post-graduate studies from the prestigious Indira Gandhi Institute of Child Health- Bengaluru ( ). After which he completed higher studies in Paediatrics from Lilavati Hospital and Research center at Mumbai ( ) He was selected for his super-specialty in Paediatric Infectious Diseases at Kanchi Kamakoti CHILDS Trust Hospital at Chennai, which is the state of art tertiary Paediatric center in South India. During his training period ( ) he has gained vast experience in the management of a wide spectrum of Paediatric infectious diseases from the common cold, dengue, flu to complicated childhood illnesses like pneumonia, brain fever (meningitis), urinary tract infections, Tuberculosis, and vaccine-preventable diseases. His stronghold lies in “Evaluation of children with fever” to distinguish simple childhood viral fevers from the fever which needs further evaluation and management.
