Worked in tertiary care hospitals in CMC hospital, Vellore, and St.Johns Medical College Hospital for the past 35 years in various posts from Lecturer to Professor and Head of Unit.Spent a year at Royal Melbourne Hospital, Melbourne Australia in Hematology addition to Clinical management of Medical and Hematology outpatient and inpatients, involved in teaching undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate (MD) students and research work with publications and presentations at conferences. Examinership for MBBS and MD exams in various universities. She is a former Professor of Medicine and Head of Unit at St.Johns Medical College Hospital, in a faculty position since 1989. Additionally, she has twenty years of experience in treating haematological disorders ranging from refractory anemias, platelet and coagulation problems to lymphomas and leukemias.
