Dr. Radha Rao has completed her MBBS from Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences, Bangalore. She was ranked 3rd for the whole of Bangalore University. She is also a recipient of Outgoing Medical student award from KIIMS, Bangalore. She completed her postgraduate training at Vani Vilas Hospital and Bowring & Lady Bowring and Curzon Hospitals, Bangalore and obtained MS (Obs & Gyn) from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. During her higher specialist training in the UK. She has worked with experts in the field of minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, Gynae Oncology, Maternal Medicine and urogynecology. She is an ALS (Advanced Life Support), NBLS (Newborn Life Support) and ALSO (Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics) provider. She is also MOET (Management of Obstetric Emergency and Trauma) provider. Dr Radha Rao encourages normal vaginal delivery, doula-assisted delivery and adheres to patient preferences and birth plans. She propagates sustainable methods of menstruation options such as use of menstrual cups and reusable pads. She practises world-class conservative and operatives techniques in management of menstrual disorders such as fibroids, endometriosis, ovarian cysts, PCOD. She manages all aspects of women's health such as pregnancy and delivery, infertility, adolescent health, menopause care, urogynaecology, cancer care and fetal medicine. She has worked as the consultant obstetrician and gynecologist at Cloudnine Hospital, Jayanagar for 6 years. She is currently working as senior consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Apollo Cradle Hospital, Jayanagar, Bangalore. She also started a one-stop clinic and diagnostic center - Janani Clinic- A Specialist women's clinic in J P Nagar, Bangalore.
