Dr Prashant Puranik had a comprehensive training in Plastic surgery in prestigious Institutes like Seth GS Medical college and King Edward Memorial hospital, Mumbai and Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. He had been a UICC ICRETT fellow at Broomfield hospital, UK and visiting fellow at CMUH, Taiwan. He is a invited faculty at various national conferences. Dr Prashant Puranik's sub-speciality is reconstructive and aesthetic facial surgery, reconstructive and cosmetic breast surgery, Lymphedema surgery, liposculpturing. He has special interest in microsurgery, performing gamut of microsurgical reconstructions like fibula flap, DIEP flap, lymph nodes transfers, intestinal transfers.
