Dr. Prakuthi is young and dynamic consultant with substantive training and over 6 years’ experience in Diabetes Management. She completed MBBS from JJM medical college Davangere in 2008 and obtained her Membership with the Royal College of Physicians MRCP-CMT (UK). She went on to acquire extensive experience and further qualifications in United Kingdom in renowned hospitals in field of Internal medicine Diabetes Management Applied nutrition She believes in practicing evidence based medicine that is centered around patient’s needs and requirements. She helps patients understands the results of diabetes checks, provide them with information and advice, talk about different treatment options to suit needs of the patients. Her interests include Complex Adult & Adolescent Diabetes Management including diabetic emergencies, Antenatal and Gestational diabetes, Lipid & Metabolic Disorders (Cholesterol) and Obesity. Other areas of special interest include dermatological conditions - acne, psoriasis, eczema and skin cancers. Other Achievements. In 2016 she completed GCP training and worked as a Sub-investigator in a phase 3 clinical Trial at Sheffield clinical research facility. She has also gained professional experience in Dermatology.
