Dr Prakash Desai

Dr. Prakash Desai is an experienced Paediatrician and well qualified Neonatologist. He has undergone his training from the UK from 2003 to 2019 at various teaching hospital in United Kingdom. Before returning to Bangalore, He was a Consultant Neonatologist for 5 years at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, London which provided care for extreme premature, surgical and cardiac infants. Dr. Prakash Desai completed his MBBS from MS Ramaih Medical College and has attained DCH and MRCPCH degree in Paediatrics in UK. He has completed CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training - Consultant equivalent) in Paediatrics after undergoing training in Neonatology and Paediatrics. He is a certified Newborn Life Support instructor of resuscitation council, UK. Dr. Prakash has extensive experience and special interest in looking after babies born extremely preterm, birth asphyxia, neonatal sepsis, babies with congenital heart diseases and surgical malformations. His expertise also include neonatal and paediatric nutrition and growth.
