Dr Pallavi A. Joshi

Dr. Pallavi is a consultant psychiatrist based in Bangalore. After finishing M.B.B.S from Government Medical College, Nagpur with honors, she completed her M. psychiatry from Sir J.J. Group of Hospitals and Grant Medical College, Mumbai. She topped in the Maharashtra University and was awarded the ‘Gold Medal’. She has worked as the assistant professor for 2 years in reputed medical college in Bangalore. Past- worked as- counselor and therapist for reputed N.G.O. She has been the recipient of the Dr. A.K.Naik award for groundbreaking research on “Psychopathology In Female Prisoners” of Mumbai. She has several international and national scientific publications to her credit. Her book citing her experiences with patients has been published in Marathi (Jan-2013) titled- “Manachya Khol Talatun”. She has been invited as faculty and guest speaker at both national and international conferences. She has also been an investigator in clinical trials and research activities at a local, national and global level. She has conducted workshops and seminars and industry training programs for various companies and industries in Maharashtra. She has also conducted a series of mental health awareness workshops, career counseling and stress management for teenagers from many colleges in Mumbai. She is writing regularly in newspapers & magazines on mental health, other medical and social issues and working as the medical editor for many online portals.
