Dr Lokesh B

Dr. Lokesh Bathala obtained his medical training MBBS, MD in General medicine and DM Neurology from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, India. He joined as a faculty for four years in the same organization. Later joined as an Associate professor and later promoted as Professor of Neurology at Narayana medical college, Nellore, Andhra Pradesh. He currently heads the department of Neurology at Aster CMI Hospital, Bengaluru He had additional training in cerebrovascular Sonography from National University Hospital, Singapore and the University of Alabama, Birmingham, USA. He obtained training in peripheral nerve and muscle sonography from the Institute of Neurology, Italy and Netherlands. To his credit, he has cleared the comprehensive exam in applied physics, carotid duplex and transcranial Doppler conducted by the American society of Neuroimaging in 2011. He is an invited speaker for workshops on Neurosonology both in India and Asia. He is Secretary General for Society of Neurosonology.
