Dr Harish’s main objective is to serve INDIA through medicine by making people healthy and excel in profession and serve towards humanity. Dr Harish is one of the expert in handling the deadly corona virus, has taken in-charge as chief intensivist and successfully treated more than 2000 critical corona patients and innumerable ward cases. He is excelled in early recognition and management of diabetes. His specialty includes managing all complication of diabetes including diabetic foot, neuropathy, end organ damage like nephropathy. He has also expertise in management of various infectious diseases and Cardiology, Hepatology, Hematology, Nephrology and Neurology diseases. Dr Harish N S completed his MBBS from JJM Medical College, Davanagere. MD (General Medicine) from Shri B M Patil Medical College, Bijapur. He has done fellowship in diabetes in collaboration with Royal Liverpool Academy, UK. His passion towards humanity persued him to do his Indian Diploma in Critical Care Medicine (fellowship in critical care) from Narayana Hrudayalaya Bangalore recognised by Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine. He started his carrier as Senior Registrar in General Medicine Department at Sahyadri Narayana Hrudayala, Shimoga. Did his fellowship in Diabetes recognised by Royal Liverpool UK. He continued his carrier in ICU at Columbia Asia Hospital Whitefield, Bangalore. Later, he did his fellowship in critical care at Narayana Health’s Muzumdhar Shaw Medical Center, Bangalore. Also worked as Consultant Intensivist at Ramiah Memorial Hospital, Bangalore. Currently working as Lead Consultant Physician and Intensivist in Sparsh Hospitals, Bangalore. Dr Harish N S trains IDCCM candidates and involved in training postgraduate students in critical care. He has given number of talks on management of various conditions in ICU at state and National levels. Dr Harish N S is a part of training Government doctors in ICU (a Governament of Karnataka Project). Honoured with COVID warrior award in the year 2021 by IMA.
