Dr Gururaj. G.P

Dr Gururaj is a consulting psychiatrist here at Sita Bhateja Speciality Hospital. He completed his MBBS from Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences in 1999 before going on to do his MD in Psychiatry from the prestigious National Institute of Mental Health and Neurological Sciences (NIMHANS) in 2007. He is actively involved in academia having held associate professorships of Psychiatry at MVJ Medical College & Research Hospital and SDUMC, Kolar (which continues). Dr Gururaj has been a speaker and lecturer at numerous fora. He has been involved in conducting workshops on alcoholism and sleep disorders and has even had articles published in national publications such as The Times of India and the Deccan Herald. He is a member of the Indian Psychiatric Society (IPS) and the Indian Association of Private Psychiatry (IAPP).
