Dr D A Satish

Dr.D.A.Satish is a Senior Consultant Dermatologist & Cosmetologist from Bangalore. He was trained at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He was formerly Assistant Professor of Dermatology at M.S.Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore. Currently, he is a Senior Consultant at Sagar Hospitals & has a busy office practice at Jayanagar, Bangalore. Dr. Satish has held several organizational posts such as the president of the Indian Society for pediatric dermatology (2003-04), president of the Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists and Leprologists [K-T branch]-1993, and Vice president of IADVL for 2000. Dr. Satish is the founder & past president of Bangalore dermatological society. He was on the editorial committee of the Indian Journal of dermatology, venereology, and leprology & is a reviewer for the journal. He is also a member of the Indian Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Satish has several publications and presentations to his credit; He has authored a chapter on Cryotherapy in IADVL text book of Dermatology 2015. Dr. Satish was the chairperson of the scientific committee of 2 national conferences, dermavision 2000 held at Bangalore in 2000 and also Dermacon 2009. He has organized several conferences at state & national levels as well. He was an invited speaker & Co-chair of acne symposium held at the World Congress of Dermatology at Seoul in May 2011. His interests include Clinical Dermatology, acne, aesthetic & photo dermatology.
