Col (Dr) Aradhana Sood, An alumnus of Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune has two decades of experience in providing Comprehensive Dermatology and Cosmetology Care in both small and large multi speciality hospitals of Army/Airforce in New Delhi, Bangalore, Pune and Lucknow. She has also served in a Field Superspeciality Hospital in Congo as part of United Nations Peace keeping mission. An astute clinical dermatologist and academician par execellence with over 40 publications in national and international peer reviewed medical journals, Col (Dr) Aradhana Sood has held the posts of Professor and Head of Department of Dermatology, AFMC, Pune and Command Hospital Lucknow under KGMU, Lucknow in the past. She is a strong advocate of evidence based medicine, well versed with all the developments and recent advances in her subject. With integrity, discipline and ethical practice being second nature integral to the long years in the armed forces, her clinical skills have been honed working in busy dermatology centres with daily OPDs in excess of 250, as well as handling dermatology in-patients including critical cases requiring ICU care. She is skilled in managing complex clinical dermatology cases across age all age groups. Her other areas of expertise are Trichology, Regenerative and Cosmetic Dermatology including Chemical Peels and Acne scar management. She also has a vast experience in the management of Leprosy & STI cases
