Dr. Ajanta Chakravarty is the HOD and Consultant for Ophthalmology at Manipal Hospital, Bangalore. She holds a Fellowship from Academy of General Education, KMC Manipal, and has pursued a course in Refractive and Anterior Segment Surgery from Moorfields Eye Hospital, London. She is specialized in Complex Cataract Surgeries Refractive Cataract Surgeries with Micro-Phacoemulsification Technique, Restor & other Multifocal IOL Implantations for spectacle free life after cataract surgery. She holds the distinction of being one of the first surgeon to do High Toric Implant in India. Being a pioneer of Lasik and other Refractive Laser Procedures in Karnataka since 1995, she has performed over 4000 LASIK surgeries till date. Her experience also includes Kerato conus treatment with C3-R surgery and medical and surgical treatment of glaucoma and squint. Dr. Ajanta Chakravartys professional affiliations include AIOS, KOS and BOS. Shes also a member of the Medical Advisory Board, Manipal Hospital (Bangalore).
