She is Ophthalmologist par excellence. She holds a fellowship in Glaucoma awarded by the prestigious, Aravind Eye Hospital & Post Graduate Institute of Ophthalmology, Madurai. Tamil Nadu, the largest eye hospital in the world. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, World Glaucoma Congress, Glaucoma Society of India, All India Ophthalmological Society, Delhi Ophthalmological Society, UP State Ophthalmological Society. Her professional training has included a further training in Glaucoma Services at Moorfields Eye Hospital, London. She has presented various papers at national conferences and has written chapters in textbooks and is an investigator in clinical trials for glaucoma.
