is creatine increase the risk of kidney stone ?

I have been taking creatine for the past three months. Yesterday, I experienced pain in my kidney, so I visited a doctor. After examination, I was diagnosed with a kidney stone. I had faced a similar issue around 12 years ago as well. Could this current problem be related to my creatine intake, or is it just a coincidence?
