Eye injury

Asked for patient, 72 years

I have just now injured my left eye while gardening. Bleeding. What should I do immediately..I washed the blood with cold water and applied ice.. Bleeding seems to have stopped

An immediate consultation with an ophthalmologist to look for the site of bleed and also to rule out any corneal epithelial defect has to be done. Prompt antibiotics has to be started for proper healing . Hope the situation was taken care of well
