Continuous cough at night
My daughter has high fever, persist cought and difficulty in breathing. Gave her cough syrup. It isn't controlling. Is it serious?

Better to check the blood investigation like cbc so that we can say whether it is viral fever or not since it is continuing and not resolving

If the cough is present for more than 3 weeks it might be problematic.If not it might just be a vital one give her lukewarm water and ascoril cough syrup she should be fine in few days
