Patient Q&A
Anxiety and Anger Issues

Doctor, I have been struggling with anxiety and anger for a long time. I often feel nervous, restless, and worried, even when there is no clear reason. Small problems make me overthink, and I become frustrated very quickly. Sometimes I lose my temper and say things I later regret, which affects my relationships with family and friends. After an angry outburst, I feel guilty and emotionally exhausted. I also have trouble sleeping and concentrating on my work. I want to understand why this happens and learn healthy ways to control my emotions and feel better.

You can contact a clinical psychologist like me. You may need an assessment of anxiety and psychotherapy for it. Anxiety is actually an umbrella term; one person may have multiple anxiety disorders. If you find your symptoms uncontrollable/severe/unmanageable, you may better take a consultation with a psychiatrist and take psychiatric medicines
Anxiety can be exhausting and that leads to frustration and irritability. It is something that can be managed with medications and/or therapy. Please consult a psychiatrist or psychologist and get the help you can.
