Dr. Venkat Ratnam Attili is a senior consulting Dermatologist who has nearly 40 years of clinical experience practicing as a dermatologist. His main interests include acne and pigmentary disorders (vitiligo and melasma). He spent the formative years of his career in Zambia and Zimbabwe; and, was instrumental in establishing the dermatology department at the Lusaka University Hospital. A lot of his time in Africa was dedicated to studying syphilis which was endemic during that time. His main research interest at the moment is vitiligo and lichen sclerosus.
